Chevrolet has been making SUVs since before the term “SUV” existed. Indeed, the American automaker’s history is intertwined directly with the SUV and its current vehicle lineup shows that that relationship has not faded. As it stands, Chevy currently offers 9 distinct SUV models, from the subcompact Bolt to the imposing Suburban. We have constructed a list of every Chevy SUV on the market, organizing them by size, price, and interior comfort. If you are curious about what differentiates the interiors of each of Chevy’s current SUV and crossover models, stick around as we break down each entry one by one.

2027 Chevrolet Bolt

Best Interior Feature: Underfloor Storage Compartment

The smallest Chevy SUV available is the subcompact 2027 Chevrolet Bolt. Despite its size, the Bolt is not the American automaker’s most affordable offering with a starting MSRP of $27,600.

The new all-electric Bolt may be small but offers a surprising level of functionality. A notable feature is the underfloor storage compartment that can be accessed via a simple pull tab in the trunk. This hidden storage area provides another four cubic feet of room, which adds to the 56.3 cubic feet of space the Bolt offers with the rear seats folded down.

2026 Chevrolet Trax

Best Interior Feature: Active Noise Cancellation

One size up from the Bolt is the compact 2026 Chevrolet Trax. At $21,700 starting MSRP, the Trax is the most affordable Chevy SUV available. Despite being dimensionally larger than the Bolt, the Trax actually features less overall roominess for both front and rear passengers. Maximum cargo space is also smaller than the Bolt. However, what the more affordable Trax offers that the Bolt does not is Active Noise Cancellation. This system utilizes microphones in the ceiling of the Trax to detect harsh and unwanted frequencies that are counteracted by the in-vehicle speakers. The primary function is to target the booming low-end frequencies of the engine, but also works with road noise as well.

2026 Chevrolet Trailblazer

Best Interior Feature: Convenience Package

Chevy calls the Trax a compact SUV, but calls the 2026 Chevrolet Trailblazer a “small” SUV. On paper, the dimensions and cargo capabilities of these two Chevy SUVs are quite similar, despite the Trax being about four inches longer.

The Trailblazer is well-equipped in its base LS configuration, but where it really shines is when equipped with the optional $1,590 Convenience Package. This includes features such as wireless charging, auto climate control, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and a 120-volt power outlet. The real standout convenience feature is the programmable power liftgate with LED logo projection. The power liftgate can be activated in four different ways: foot motion (with the activation spot marked by an LED projection of the Chevy logo), the liftgate button on the key, the liftgate button in the vehicle, or the touch pad at the bottom of the liftgate.

2026 Chevrolet Equinox

Best Interior Feature: Seat Comfort

Next up is the 2026 Chevrolet Equinox, which the American automaker brands as a small family SUV. Indeed, compared to the Trailblazer, the Equinox offers more overall roominess and maximum cargo space.

During his review of the 2026 Chevrolet Equinox, our own William Clavey described the interior design and comfort of the Chevy SUV as its best asset. He stated that the Equinox’s general ergonomics are “actually pretty good, with plenty of storage and physical buttons and knobs to adjust drive modes, climate settings, and audio.” He also stated that “seat comfort is also an Equinox strong point, both front and rear. There’s also a decent amount of rear leg and headroom, even for tall passengers sitting behind another tall person.”

Best Interior Feature: Underfloor Storage Compartment

The 2026 Chevrolet Equinox EV is the all-electric version of Chevy’s small family SUV. How does it compare on the inside next to the conventional gasoline-powered model?

What you will realize once you analyze the interior dimensions of the Equinox EV is that it sacrifices a lot of roominess to accommodate its electric battery pack. The Equinox EV offers the least amount of rear legroom of any model on our list so far, including the subcompact Bolt. The all-electric small family SUV also loses 6.3 cubic feet of maximum cargo room when compared to the non-electric model. This is partially rectified by the hidden underfloor storage compartment, similar to the Bolt’s compartment, but we still wish there were just a little more cargo room overall.​​​​​​​

2026 Chevrolet Blazer

Best Interior Feature: Rear Sliding Seats

Next up is the 2026 Chevrolet Blazer, which Chevy markets as a mid-size sporty SUV. At $34,300 starting, it is priced similarly to the Equinox EV. The Blazer is certainly a step up in size when compared to our previous entries, but the gasoline-powered Equinox still edges it out slightly in rear legroom. Instead, the Blazer gains a couple of extra feet of maximum cargo space. The Blazer’s rear seating area is still more versatile than you might anticipate. The mid-size SUV features standard rear sliding seats in a 60/40 split configuration that can slide, recline, and fold flat. With this feature, you can choose to prioritize either cargo room or rear passenger legroom.

2026 Chevrolet Blazer EV

Best Interior Feature: Adrenaline Red Leather Package

As a counterpart to the gasoline-powered Blazer, there is the 2026 Chevrolet Blazer EV. The Blazer EV is a healthy bump in price compared to the non-electric model, starting at $44,700.

Opt for a Blazer EV with the Adrenaline Red leather package, however, and you will feel that every dollar is worth it. Is it extreme? Yes, and our own Lyndon Conrad Bell called it a “guilty pleasure” in his review of the 2025 Chevrolet Blazer EV RS AWD. Here were his thoughts surrounding the cabin: “fit and finish, as well as the material choices, were quite good. Yes, there were some hard plastics in play. Strategically placed though, they didn’t clamor for undue attention. Seating comfort was good in all four primary positions, as well as in the center rear seat. Second-row passengers were also afforded their own pair of air vents. Rear outboard seating positions were heated too.”

2026 Chevrolet Traverse

Best Interior Feature: 98 Cubic Feet Of Cargo Room

The 2026 Chevrolet Traverse is the smallest of the brand’s three-row SUVs. Despite its impressive roominess, the Traverse costs less than the Blazer EV, starting at $40,800.

The Traverse can be configured for either seven or eight passengers and comes with a solid array of standard features even in base LT trim. This includes convenience features like Smart Slide seats and the AutoSense power liftgate. Chevy’s Smart Slide seats allow for easy access to the third row by allowing the second-row seats to slide and tilt forward, even with a child seat installed on the passenger side. Even then, the Traverse’s true standout feature is its best-in-class 98 cubic feet of cargo space. That is a massive amount of room that you won’t find in other SUV models in this segment at this price point.

2026 Chevrolet Tahoe

Best Interior Feature: Seating For Up To 9 Passengers

Just when you thought a three-row SUV couldn’t get more spacious, there is the 2026 Chevrolet Tahoe. Considering the Tahoe costs about $20,000 more than the Traverse, it carries heavy expectations with that higher price point.

If your objective is pure utility, few other three-row SUVs will offer the same capability. The Tahoe can seat up to nine passengers in the base LS trim with the optional front bench seat, or accommodate 122.7 cubic feet of cargo room. The additional front seat is small and best for children, but you have the option where most SUVs do not even consider the possibility. During his review of the 2025 Chevrolet Tahoe, our own William Clavey stated that the key selling point for the Tahoe model is its cargo space. He stated, “A Tahoe offers more total cargo space (all seats lowered flat) than a Ford Expedition (104.6 cu-ft) and a Jeep Wagoneer (116.7 cu-ft).”

2026 Chevrolet Suburban

Best Interior Feature: 144.5 Cubic Feet Of Cargo Room

The 2026 Chevrolet Suburban is the largest Chevy SUV on the market. Compared to the Tahoe, the Suburban is about 15 inches longer, increasing its overall cargo space and third-row legroom. The Suburban is also only about $3,000 more than the Tahoe, which means you can buy whichever one suits your family’s needs and size better. With 144.5 cubic feet of cargo room, you cannot find another SUV with more room for activities than the Suburban. With the third-row seats down, the Suburban can easily accommodate a full-size air mattress. TopSpeed’s Garrett Donahue had this to say about the 2024 Chevrolet Suburban High Country during his review:

Cargo capacity and loading are both excellent in the Suburban. With a simple push of a button, the third row folds flat, allowing for a massive expanse of interior space that makes our ski equipment look tiny by comparison. In doing so, no sacrifice of space occurs for second or first row occupants. Fold the third and second rows down, and you basically have the space of a full pickup truck bed, but with the added benefit of a covered space…the interior space in the Suburban allowed for six people to comfortably fit all our equipment, luggage, and snacks for half a week in the mountains.
