2025 Audi Q3

The 2025 Audi Q3 kicks off our list with a 3.8 out of 5.0 score based on 22 reviews on Kelley Blue Book. 68% of owners recommended the Q3, with styling as its strongest category, and comfort and reliability tied for second. A recent five-star review stated that it took a few weeks to get used to the tech and seat adjustments, but then “the magic” kicked in. After a 12-hour road trip, the reviewer stated that they had “never had such an easy drive.”
A more critical review from 2021 stated that in less than two years, they had experienced two transmission fluid leaks and three sunroof leaks, along with other minor issues. Despite asking for Audi to contact them after a service questionnaire, they allegedly never got a response.
2025 Audi A4 Allroad

A five-star review from 2022 concurs, stating that they purchased the car because it was “very stylish, great to drive, and super comfortable.” This owner lives in NYC, where they claim the roads are awful and the A4 allroad handles the challenge with ease.
In contrast, a critical review of a 2023 A4 allroad Prestige stated that the infotainment system is “counterintuitive and slow to respond.” They also complained that the home link system works intermittently and that the auto-start-stop system is “coarse and unrefined.” They go on to say the seats are uncomfortable and that they hope “the car gets stolen.” Dramatic much? We hope that they found something that suits them better.
2025 Audi Q8

The 2025 Audi Q8 is the brand’s current flagship SUV and was just recently refreshed for the 2024 model year. It received a 4.0 out of 5.0 score from 16 reviews on Kelley Blue Book. 68% of those reviewers recommended the vehicle, with styling as its strongest category and performance coming in second. A five-star review from 2022 raves about its styling, power, and sound, with “lots of useful tech.” Despite its size, the four-wheel steering gives it more maneuverability than meets the eye. It’s also thirsty, but “not terrible considering the size, weight, and power.”
A more critical review details a different story about a 2020 Audi Q8. They said this was their third Audi, with the last being a Q5 they owned for 10 years. Their first complaint was “how slow the acceleration was from a stop,” even in Dynamic mode. Then an issue with the Audi Pre-Sense driver assistance system, and then the alternator died around the 40,000-mile mark. On another occasion, a malfunction once caused the steering to be inoperable while driving. This owner concluded that they would be trading the car “sooner rather than later.”
2024 Audi Q5

Despite the larger sample size, 75% of reviewers recommended this Audi SUV, with comfort and styling tied for its strongest category and performance coming in second. A recent review from March 2025 details how the Q5 interior “has a great fit and finish…it looks classy…and holds three bikes and gear!” Despite this, its biggest selling point was that the Q5 was “the quietest car” they have ever owned, despite also owning a Lexus sedan.
In contrast, a two-star review tells a different story. Dramatically, they begin with “I will never invest in another Audi,” and that once the warranty expired, the troubles started. Their first issue was replacing the motor mounts, then the transfer case module, and then the differential transfer case. They were told that these problems are “known issues”, but because they are not safety-related, there was no recall. In the end, they concluded they would “never again” experience the Audi brand and that the Q5 has been nothing but a “money pit.”

The primary issue being that the screens caused them to “look down and away from the road for too long to make adjustments.” They also explained that they were required to replace some electronics once because the screens went dark and were inoperable. 2025 Audi Q7

A 2024 review sums up the ownership experience of a Q7 quite well. The reviewer applauded its performance, stating that “it drives as if it has more horsepower than it actually does, handling between a sporty and sleek drive.” They also went on to praise the ride comfort and interior quality.
However, there are always two sides to a story. They also stated, “expensive to maintain, though, and not the best company to work with when something under warranty does go wrong.” Another specific mention was that below freezing, certain features, like the high beams, stop functioning. The last gripe being that the rear seat cupholders are absurdly small, and the phone charger is hidden away inside a console with no breathability, which can cause your phone to overheat.

The Audi A4 demonstrates incredible consistency, with performance, quality, comfort, reliability, and styling all tied as its strongest categories, with 88% of reviewers recommending it. A five-star reviewer stated that they were “going into year five with this car and still extremely satisfied.” Its primary selling points? The reviewer said that “it handles like it’s on rails, accelerates like a sports car, and delivers 35+ mpg at 80 mph on the freeway.”
On the flip side, a critical review shared a different story. They praised the Audi A4 for its interior, engine, tech features, comfortable seats, handling, and sound system. However, the reviewer had a consistent issue where the car “seemed to drift on concrete roadways,” and the car would always tend to drift left or right. The dealer was not able to address the issue, nor did Audi’s customer service find any resolution. The experience left the reviewer disappointed, admitting that “this will be my last Audi purchase.”

One reviewer called it “the best SUV I have ever owned.”
The same reviewer also explained that “while it can be a little expensive to maintain, servicing my SQ5 on a regular basis has helped maintain its original feel and appearance.” Of the issues they have had, they had to replace both door sensors on the driver’s side and the rear windshield wiper. Other than that, it has all been routine maintenance, and they proclaim that their SQ5 “still drives and looks like it did the day I bought it.”
2022 Audi e-tron

It received a 4.9 out of 5.0 score from 22 reviews on Kelley Blue Book. 95% of reviewers recommended it, with the quality and comfort categories receiving perfect scores. A five-star reviewer details why they selected the e-tron despite so many all-electric options available. They stated that the e-tron “feels like more of a driver’s car” and a “stepping stone EV.”
A common complaint of the e-tron is its lack of driving range, and the same reviewer also addressed this issue. They stated that despite getting only about 198 to 216 miles of range depending on the weather, it had plenty of range, as they rarely drive more than 50 to 60 miles a day. They also elaborated that their ownership experience has been great, with “no breakdowns or problems.”
2024 Audi Q8 e-tron

Taking our top spot is the 2024 Audi Q8 e-tron, which is the renamed and facelift version of the Audi e-tron. As it is still the same SUV underneath, the Q8 e-tron also received a 4.9 out of 5.0 score from 22 reviews on Kelley Blue Book. 95% of reviewers recommended it, with the quality and comfort categories receiving perfect scores. A recent review from 2025 explained why they decided to buy a Q8 e-tron in the first place. They described how it was “well put together” and had nice seats and a nice interior aside from the piano black trim.
However, their experience had more negatives than positives. After a year of ownership, they stated that they “started to completely hate the Audi.” The primary issue at hand is the electronics. The reviewer experienced a dangerous situation as a result of a malfunctioning Audi Pre-Sense driver assistance system more than once. Then there was an issue where the infotainment system would black screen and reset unprompted while driving. It would take minutes to restart, which meant during its downtime, there was no access to A/C or any interior controls. The conclusion was that they “literally could not wait to run away from this car as fast as I could.” As you can see, there are always two sides to the story, even with the Audi models that receive the best reviews.
